The service has a large team and unique outdoor learning environment. Many educators have differing views about the setup, maintenance and their roles and responsibilities in this environment.
Outcomes
- The outdoor learning environment philosophy supports the service philosophy.
- The philosophy will guide and inform the services' community from educators, children, parents, and the wider community to understand the 'why' behind the uniqueness of our outdoors learning environment and how it is used to support children's development, sustainability, and our local natural biodiversity. The philosophy will support our work with children, their families and each other. It is the combination of our beliefs, values and hopes for the outdoor educational program that we provide and its outcomes.
- The philosophy will support our pedagogy.
- Goals and responsibility will be developed for each keys learning area.
