Educators can be challenged to support children who display behaviours that do not fit into our cultural expectations. This can increase educators' workload, stress and ability to develop positive relationships with children. Different cultural & professional knowledge & beliefs reflect inconsistent strategies been used to support children in the service.
Outcomes
- A foundational understanding of the Conscious Discipline Brain State Model and how to create safe, connected and problem-solving environments that allow adults and children to function in their optimal brain state.
- Consistency in philosophical understanding of children's behavior
- Consistent pedagogy approach in supporting children's social & emotional development.
- Educators' that feel competent and supported in working in the classrooms with children.

- Knowledge & skills on conscious discipline is embedded in educators' practices.
- Educators support the continuous flow of knowledge to new educators as they join our team.
